Beau-Louise Photography Terms and Conditions



By booking a photography session with Beau-Louise Photography, you agree to the terms & conditions below.


1. What is included in your session;


  • Your photography session
  • The photographer’s time, creative direction and artistic expertise
  • Pre-session consultation, preparation & advice
  • A private online gallery protected with a personal & private password
  • The production of the number of professionally retouched images included in your chosen package



2. Booking, Payment & Deposits


A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date and time. Until payment is received, your booking is not confirmed.

Once your booking is confirmed, that time is reserved exclusively for you and will not be offered to another client.

Your deposit is non refundable however if you need to reschedule your session, as long as the correct notice is given your deposit can be transferred to your rescheduled session. (Please so below).

The remaining balance must be paid on the day of your session. Cash is accepted or an invoice with a payment link can be sent on the day.



3. Cancellation & Rescheduling


Rescheduling requires advance notice depending on your session type;


  • Headshot/portfolio Session – 24 hours
  • Creative Sessions – 48 hours
  • Birthday/cakesmash Sessions – 3 working days
  • Mini Session – 24 hours
  • Christmas sessions- 24 hours


Deposits are valid for one year, are non-refundable but may be transferred once within a 12-month period, provided the required notice period is given.

If notice is not provided within the stated timeframe, the deposit will be forfeited.

If Beau-Louise Photography has to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date or a refund will be offered.


4. Copyright & Image Licence


All images remain the copyright of Beau-Louise Photography in accordance with UK copyright law.

Clients are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for self-promotional use only.

Permitted uses include:


  • Spotlight
  • IMDb
  • Agent or management websites
  • Personal websites
  • Theatre programmes
  • Personal portfolios
  • Personal social media profiles



5. Photo Credit Requirement


Photographer credit is a condition of the licence to use the image.

Where images are used publicly - including online, social media, press, or print - Beau-Louise Photography or Beau-Louise Headshots must be credited.

Accepted credit formats:

  • Photo credit: Beau-Louise Headshots
  • Photo credit: @beaulouiseheadshots


Social Media

Credit must appear clearly in the caption & image must be tagged as follows-

Facebook- @BeauLouisePhotography

Instagram- General photography page- @beaulouisephotography

Instagram- Actor Headshots & Model Portfolio/Updates- @beaulouiseheadshots



6. Third-Party Usage


Clients are responsible for ensuring that agents, casting platforms, production companies, press outlets, publicists and other third parties using the images include the required photographer credit.

Where images are used in press, editorial or promotional material, the photographer credit must appear alongside the image or within the accompanying caption.


7. Image Alteration


Images must not be:


  • Edited
  • Filtered
  • Retouched
  • Colour-altered
  • Manipulated in any way


Cropping for formatting purposes is permitted.

Removal of watermarks, logos or identifying marks is not permitted.


8. Portfolio & Marketing Usage


Beau-Louise Photography may use selected images for:


  • Portfolio
  • Website
  • Social media
  • Studio display
  • Marketing


If you would prefer your images not to be used publicly, this must be mentioned at the time of booking or during your session.


9. Gallery & Image Selection


Clients receive a private online gallery to view images from their session in proof form. The link to the proofs gallery will expire after 14 days. There will be a £10 charge to reinstate the gallery if images have not been chosen after this time. Additional images may be purchased when viewing proofs.


Final edited images are delivered within 10 working days of image selection, subject to workload.


Proof & Final image galleries will stay live on Beau-Louise Photography website for 1 month after Final images are delivered. After 1 month Proof & Final images galleries will be deleted. Clients must ensure images are saved to their own devices. If you would like to order extra images from the live gallery after receiving your final edits this can be done no later than 1 month from the date of the final edits email. If you want to view your proofs or order extra images after 1 month there will be an administration charge of £10 to reinstate the gallery.


RAW or unedited files are not released under any circumstances.


10. Image Re-Send / Archive Retrieval


Clients are responsible for downloading and securely storing their final images.

If images need to be retrieved from archives, a £10 administrative fee will apply (if the files are still available).


11. Liability


While every reasonable care is taken during your session and in the handling of your images, Beau-Louise Photography cannot be held liable for:

  • Loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Missed opportunities resulting from the use or non-use of images
  • Technical failure beyond reasonable control


In the unlikely event of image loss due to technical failure, liability is limited to a reshoot at no additional cost to the client.


12.Confirmation

By booking a session with Beau-Louise Photography, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
